Gaining Weight

The third Hereford Performance Test Group final trials were held at Waihuka Stud on February 7. Substantial gains were obvious within the groups but the guest speaker, N.Z. Meat Board grading committee chairman John Poison, was of the opinion that if breeders were to increase beef weight then the exporters' incentives should be commensurate with the breeders' efforts.
