MRS "QUARTER-OF-A-MILLION"

×

Mrs Margaret Selves, 476 Palmerston Road, gained fame on the West Coast of the South Island recently as the 250,000th visitor to Shantytown. Shantytown is a reconstruction of a West Coast mining town of last century. It is just a few miles south of Greymouth and is proving a great tourist attraction now that it is well established. Mrs Selves received a commemorative plaque cut from West Coast stone. It is etched with a sketch of Shantytown.
