Speak & Make

A full assembly hall greeted those pupils of the Gisborne Intermediate School who were finalists in the annual speech contest. and those who took part in the "Make & Model" fashion parade.

The speech finalists were, from left, in front, Graeme Hughes {boys' winner), Carolyne Meng Yee, Karen Bond (girls' winner), and Julie Edwards and, at back, Raymond Dooling and Chris Carlyle. Some of the girls who took part in the parade are pictured below.
