Cleaning up Large
Blistered hands, and tired feet and arms, were all taken in good part by those who helped in the "Big Gorse Clean-up" on the property which will be used as a new home for the Riding School for the Disabled. It is situated on the hill off the eastern end of Oswald Street,
Wanda Mullacrane, Neil Jullian and Raewyn O'Conner ("Session members who took part in the clean-up) are ready to call it a day.
Other "Session" members piling a high mound of the cut gorse are, from left, Chris Beetham, Lesley Wahren and Margaret Atkins.
The school's secretary, Mary Parkinson, points out the boundary on top of the hill.
More members of the public can be seen at work on northern half of the school's 20 acre block
