Camera Club Convention

Hair Dressing

Dressing the hair is quite an art, as those who took part in the Schwarzkopf International promotion soon realised when Auckland hairdresser Philip Ellis demonstrated the company's new hair colouring.

The Gisborne Camera Club was host to the annual Hawke's Bay-East Coast mini-convention this year. Much interest was taken in the monochrome section of the photographic competitions which included some very high grade work. Shown with the winning print, "High Rider," by Barry Teutenberg, are, from left, Messrs Roger Brownsey (president, Photographic Society of New Zealand), Jack McNab (Gisborne club president), Mrs Nan Evans (convention secretary) and Mrs Margaret Brownsey.
