Breakfast Fly-In
Air Gisborne hosted a breakfast flyin to 17 planes and 53 passengers on Sunday, October 7. The planes, which came from the Hastings, Tauranga, Whakatane, Opotiki, Napier and Taupo Aero Clubs, started arriving just after 6.00 a.m. After b breakfast and salutations the aircraft took to the air at 10.00 a.m. and, after a flypast over the city, went on their various routes home.
