Fun'n Fashion
Over $100 was raised at a very enjoyable wine, cheese and fashion parade evening held in Common Shelton's social room, by that company, in aid of the Patutahi Golf Club's building fund. A wide range of garments was paraded before the very appreciative audience by models especially imported for the occasion.
Two of the younger models almost stole the show.
Helen models a very smart casual dress in white with navy trim
Barbara's patio gown in multi coloured stripes and flowers drew admiring glances
Janet Bodle very ably compered the parade
Patutahi Golf Club president Des Malcolm thanked all concerned on behalf of the club
Philip paraded some of the "in" casual wear for the younger set
Tracey wore this very demure pink nightgown for the young teenager

Hilda models a smart day dress in black and white; Lillian's matching sleveless coat was worn over her navy and white trimmed frock; Tracey parading swimwear for the younger set for the coming summer months; Heather in a very full black and multi-coloured flowered gown.
Geoff sported this tan self-striped suit, complete with hat and brolly.
Rosemary's full length gown in a multi-coloured floral pattern was one of the attractions of the parade.
The large number of Patutahi Golf Club supporters and guests included Alan Coveli and Iris and Stan Tim mings, and others on the next page.
