Speedway Prizegiving
The Gisborne Speedway Club held a very enjoyable cabaret and prizegiving in the Archery Club Hall recently.
Receiving the cup for the stock car championship is Graham Peddle (right). From left, are club secretary Harry Hesseli, president Gerry Huberts and patron Gil Dominey.
Miles Richardson, pictured with Miss Grace, took the trophy for the most improved production saloon car driver of the season. The 1973-74 season gets under way on November 10 and will be under private pro-motership.
