Out & About

Great Trip

The Horouta Rugby team, which went on a Greymouth-Westport tour recently, had a great time. The team reached the quarter finals (out of 26 teams playing) in the seven-a-side tournament and, even more gratifying, defeated a combined team in the curtain-raiser to the Canterburyv. West Coast game by 28-4. The team is pictured here, on tour, when they stopped to look at the Inangahua earthquake slip, which is now quite a tourist attraction.

Four Generations

Fiji Prize

In a New Zealand-wide window dressing competition for pharmacies, under the sponsorship of Sharlands, the prize was a trip to Fiji. This was won by Mr Bob McLatehie's Premier Pharmacy, with the able assistance of Robyn Drummond and Wendy Mossman. The window competition called for the display of a certain number of Sharlands baby care products under the general title of 'Baby Love.'
