Just the Thing for Troubleshooters

A very sophisticated Cessna 402A was a recent visitor to Gisborne. It is owned by Temperature Control Ltd. an Auckland heating, refrigerating and air-conditioning installation firm. The plane is used by the company to fly executives and equipment, wherever required, around The country. The 10 seater plane is up to Boeing 737 equipment standards, has two 300hp Rolls Royce Continental motors, and cruises between 185 and 215 m.p.tf.

Pictured with the firm's local agent, Carl Houlahan (left). Is the plane's permanent pilot and Auckland marketing manager Robert Palmer. Robert is a noted skiier. He went to the '68 Winter Olympics at Grenoble, France, and was actually placed 42nd out of 600, which was pretty good, considering placing are gained and lost only by fractions of & second.
