On the panel were, left from Mr Barker, Messrs Trevor Davey, M.P., Eric Adye, Gisborne Harbour Board, and John Fitzharris, Department of Agriculture.

To mark her retirement from the movement after more than 30 years' service, the Assistant Area Cub Leader, Miss June McGregor, was presented with an illuminated address by Area Training Leader Cyril Hall.
