New Headquarters

The Te Hapara Airscouts now have new headquarters in the form of the previously owned Gisborne Aero Club Hall. After the Aero Club went into liquidation the Airscouts successfully tendered for the building. Finance was raised by the scouts from their own money-making projects, and from generous donations (among which was $1000 from the H.B. Williams No.2 Charitable Trust), thus enabling the group to purchase the hall.
