To show their appreciation, and pay tribute to her outstanding service to the district over the past 12 years, members of the Gisborne Branch of the National Party presented former M.P. Mrs Esme Tombleson with a magnificent silver water jug and set of crystal glasses. These were presented by the branch chairman, Mr Jack Howard, at a recent general meeting of the party.
