This 2-month-old hare has become almost one of the Saunders' family in Crawford Road. Ivan Saunders was out with his gun one day and shot a hare. On picking it up there seemed to be more than one so he quickly performed a caesarean section and brought home a 1½ ounce leveret. The youngster now weighs 2½lbs and has a voracious appetite — particularly for Bananas! Glenda Saunders is seen feeding the young hare with his daily feed of banana.
