Clive Allcock, son of Mr and Mrs G. T. AlIcock, 9 Cook Street, received his M.B., Ch.B. degree from Otago University recently. Dr Allcock, who also holds a B.Sc. degree and an L.T.C.L. diploma in speech, has taken up a position as House Surgeon at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.

Lynda Wilkie, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs W. H. J. Wilkie, Worsley Street, sailed on the "Fair-star" earlier this month. She expects to be away for about two years on a working holiday in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Folk singer Roger Whittaker drew two packed houses to his concerts in the War Memorial Hall, where fans were treated to two hours of his artistry. Roger is seen here with announcer Arthur Toms as he broadcasted live from Radio 2ZG for three-quarters of an hour.
