Peace to Kahutia
A top notch team from Kahutia, skippered by Jim Barrett, defeated the Gisborne team, skippered by Alex Ramsey, by 22-18, to take the annual tournament for the Peace shield, at Anniversary Weekend. This win entitled Jim Barrett to a Centre Gold Star, and Harold Powell to a Bar to his star.
