Hansen and Tomlinson's new premises are situated in Disraeli Street, next to the Archery Hall. The building was opened recently, when the firm moved from their old premises in Gladstone Road.

Rickstan Industries have opened a branch in Gisborne, and their premises are in Cobden Street, between Gladstone Road and Childers Road. The firm, which supplies kitchen and bathroom units, has come for the first time to a city with a population of less than 60,000.
