Wekas Win Tent

Weka Patrol, one of the four patrols in the Wai-te-ata Scout group, won this year's competition for the Ladies Auxiliary prize. This year the ladies gave a tent worth $30. The competitions for the prize are conducted over a two-monthly period.

The Wai-te-ata Scouts also won the 1972-73 inter-scout group swimming competition, for the Kelvin Shield, for the third year in succession.
