Safety Quiz Has Tough Questions
Questions for the five finalists in the Children's Road Safety Quiz were not easy and the finalists are to be commended for the grasp of road code knowledge shown by them. The quiz was run by the Road Safety Committee and organised by Mr C. Campbell.
The finalists at the quiz table are, from left, Carol Bell (St Mary's), Irene Webber (Central), Hugh McCulley (Te Wharau), Debbie Hewetson (Waerenga-o-kuri), and Stuart Chrisp (Kaiti).
The winner was Hugh McCulley. He is being congratulated by Mr W. M. Willis, SM, who presented the prizes.
