After five years as matron at Ayton House, Miss E. Coutts has left for Feilding, The girls at the hostel held a high tea to farewell Miss Coutts, and presented her with flowers, a sheepskin rug and a silver jewel box.
The Tolaga Bay Ladies' golf team won the Northern Zone pennant aggregate for the third successive year. (It's all that ozone on the Tolaga course that does it!)
