All Conditions
Part of the St. John cadet training scheme includes exercises under all conditions. Recently some of the boys worked after dark to test their skill on "accident victims" after rescue.
A "patient", having fallen out of a tree, is put on a stretcher before being taken inside for treatment.
Those taking part in that particular exercise were, from left, John Stothers (instructor), Robert Wilkie (No. 1), Bernard Bottrill (No. 4), Kevin Goodson (No. 3) and Tom Bottrill (No. 2). The "patient" is Michael Mita.
Another "patient", who slipped and suffered an injured leg is located in a doorway.
Those taking part in that exercise were Robert Goodson (No. 1), Michael Hamblyn (No. 2), Rex Wilson (No. 3), Dan Branthwaite (No. 4) and Chris Mita (reserve).
