Tip Top Talent

All kinds of talent came to the fore when a grand variety concert was held in the Girls' High School Assembly Hall. The funds raised were in aid of the Nursing Education and Research Foundation and the hall was packed.

One of the star attractions was the Te Karaka Brass, the Savage Club's answer to Herb Alpert. From left they are Senors Barry Ellis, Ross Fryer, Ted Dumbleton, Dion Kohn, Jack White, Peter Brownlie and Denis Kohn.

Comedy was the forte of John Stothers' and Yvonne King's sketch.

The Bowen Sisters - Jane, Rachel and Rebecca. They played and sang to a delighted audience.
