Churches Meet

The 28th annual meeting of the National Council of Churches took place in Gisborne in July. Delegates and observers from all parts of the country attended.

This mural painted by Colin Brooks of the Boys' High School took pride of place on the hall wall at the conference. It depicts a divided world.
