Great Gifts
Two exceptional and outstanding grifts were made to the Intellectually Handicapped Children Society prior to the opening of the society's new hostel. These were a television set and a radiogram.
Members of the Cheer and Charity Club spent much time and effort raising funds to provide a television set for the hostel and this was formally presented to Mrs Nora Steed, president of the society.
