Brownie News
Brownies from all the Gisborne packs gathered recently in the Guide Hall to listen to a talk given by Mrs O. F. Haylock, Bulls, national adviser to the handicapped branch of the New Zealand Guide movement.
The Brownies taking part in a lesson on direction using only their hearing. In the centre is the national Brownie symbol which is always placed in the centre of a Brownie ring.
Miss R. D. Bunt, Provincial Commissioner, Mrs O. F. Haylock, and Mrs J. S. Adams, Waimata District Commissioner.
The girls warmed up with a game of "Pop Goes the Weasel".
