New Basketball Pavilion Opened

The new extensions to the Poverty Bay Basketball Association's pavilion were officially opened by the Mayor and Mayoress, Mr and Mrs H. H. Barker, on Saturday, August 10.

A large crowd was present at the function which preceded the main game of the day, Maori versus pakeha.
