Country Capers

Plenty of capers were cut in the country when the Makaraka School held its fancy dress dance in the Makaraka Hall. The many and varied costumes presented a colourful sight as the boys and girls presented their dances.

Grant Brew, Roy Ratahi, Stephen Durston and Alan Ferguson at back, and Tommy Brodie, Sheridan Dahm and David Sharp in front have plenty to smile about.

Straight off the track came Jimmy and Wayne Boyd, the famous racing car drivers.
