Planting Commences

The school is held at St. Mary's College and pictured are some of the teachers.

Contract growers were on hand recently when Montana Wines brought through to Gisborne some thousands of rooted grapevine cuttings for the first plantings. The growers received their quotas which they took away for planting. The resulting harvest will supply the firm's proposed factory with wine grapes for winemaking.
