Four elderly and well Known identities on the East Coast pictured at the recent Taylor--Bristowe wedding at Te Araroa were Mrs Kohere, sen., Rangitukia, Mrs Ngaropi Whire, Tokomaru Bay, Mr Sid Haig, Tikitiki, and Mr Apiaya Apanui, Te Araroa.

Crowds of kids got a great kick out of watching the "sewing contest" at the Kaiti school gala when Andy King, Peter Lister, Colin Whelan and "Tiny White" had a go at making coronation capes for the Miss Kaiti candidates.

Taking advantage of the water available during the Jaycees' car washing project, one member gave his feet and teeth an extra clean-up.

This cow from the coast (the one at the back, that is) has a penchant for climbing fences, believe it or not. She has a go at any obstacle to get at fruit trees and other delicacies. Her name is Faithfull and she lives on Bremner Station out of Tokomaru Bay

The old feet started to itch and thoughts of sunnier climes invaded the mind when we saw this tempting travel display in a Peel Street store. The two ships are models of the Oriana and the Achille Lauro.
