Meet Clarence

It's customary for the feminine sex to jump on chairs and squeal at the sight of a mouse, but this doesn't apply in the Macpherson home in Wi Pere Street. There, one of the family's pets is Clarence, and the whole family is as fond of him as Walt Disney ever was of Mickey. All, that is, except the family cat, which has to be restrained from having Clarence for dinner.

Picture shows Clarence with Jennifer, whose parents are Mr and Mrs Ian Macpherson. Nobody knows who Clarence's parents were....("Just call me Clarence McMouson")...he came to the Macphersons via a school gala stall.
