World Film Premiere

The world premiere of the film "Funny Things Happened Down Under" took place at the Kings Theatre on a recent Friday night.

Starring well-known personalities Howard Morrison and Tanya Binning, the film was shot in Australia.

Miss Binning, who is also popularly-known as Australia's "Surfing Queen", made a personal appearance at the gala night.

The film was the first world premiere to be held in Gisborne.
