The marriage was solemnised recently at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church of Shirley, daughter of Mrs A. E. Wilson, Muir Street, and the late Mr Wilson, and James Wallis Stewart, son of Mr and Mrs A. J. Stewart, Gladstone Road.
Their attendants at right are the matron of honour, Mrs J. Easton, and the best man, Mr J. Jennings. At left are Mr N. Waddell, groomsman, and Miss Margaret Stewart, bridesmaid, sister of the bridegroom. The junior bridesmaid is Miss Raewyn McCullough.

All the way from Glasgow to Gisborne was the story for both the bride and groom when marriage vows were exchanged at St. David's Presbyterian Church, Kaiti, by Betty, daughter of Mr and Mrs G. Allison, Glasgow, and Alan, son of Mr and Mrs A. Gardner, Glasgow. The couple's future home will be in Gisborne.
