Guy Fawkes Night

The major Guy Fawkes night celebration this year was at Alfred Cox Park, where the Gisborne Skating Club lit four big fires along the bank of Waikanae Creek.

A good crowd of children and parents turned out with their bags-full of fireworks, crackers, and sky rockets, to make the scene a gay and spectacular one.
