Rakauroa Golf Club Cabaret

The Matawai Memorial Hall presented a gay scene on the 25th September when the Rakauroa Golf Club held its first cabaret. The event was an outstanding success, with guests from many outside districts attending.

The hall was attractively decorated with golf umbrellas and coloured balloons strung from the ceiling. Miniature flags of the club's colours were set on the tables.
