G. L. B. Competition

Companies of the Gisborne Battalion of the Girls' Life Brigade recently took part in the third annual inter-company competitions in the Intermediate School hall.

Watched by a large group of spectators, the companies performed drill movements, figure marching, and Scottish country dancing.

The overall winner was the 1st Gisborne Company (St. Andrew's Presbyterian), from the 6th Gisborne (Town Baptist), and the 8th Gisborne (Wesley Methodist).
