Our Cover

Looking very charming on our colour cover this montn is Miss Ellen Duffin, "Photo News" entrant in the "Miss Industries Fair" contest, pictured in the Botanical Gardens. Ellen is a typist-clerk with the National Insurance Company, and enjoys spending her leisure hours on the beach (summer), and playing basketball (winter). She recently announced her engagement, and intends marrying later next year.

Back Cover. Autumn colours have been aflame in the country during the last month, heralding the change of the seasons. Our picture was taken in the Waingake Valley, where a herd of dairy cows were restfully awaiting their afternoon milking beneath a row of yellow poplars.
