The three Queens in the recent Hinepare Marae Committee's Queen Carnival, held to raise money to provide toilet facilities for the Marae, at Tikitiki. An interested group of market gardeners watches a demonstration by a representative of Winstone Ltd. of a new type motorised knapsack sprayer. The sprayer, which is driven by a 3 horsepower motor, is completely mobile, and gives half an hour of effective spraying at only 40 lbs of weight.
