Iris Lovers

The enthusiasm of iris growers for their favourite flower is such that when the annual convention of the New Zealand Iris Society was held in Gisborne recently, those attending included five from the U.S.A. and others from far and near in New Zealand.

The programme for delegates included tours of the city and district to inspect blooms grown by local iris devotees.
