Double Wedding

An attractive picture is presented by these members of a double wedding at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Gisborne. The occasion was the marriage of Valerie May and Muriel Catherine, daughters of Mr and Mrs R. B. Watt, Rutene Road. Valerie's group is at left of picture, where she appears on the arm of her husband, Raymond Vernon Appleton, son of Mr and Mrs H. Appleton, Croziers Road, Christchurch, with the best man, Mr Ray Sullivan, and the bridesmaid, Miss Yvonne Low, at left, and the flower girl, little Sheryl Fletcher, in front. Muriel's husband is Donald Barry Reardon, son of Mr and Mrs F. Reardon, Sponge Bay, Gisborne. In front of them are their two flower girls, Carol and Robyn Fletcher, and at right Mr Les Gibson (groomsman), Miss Shirley Forbes (bridesmaid), Mr Noel Tong, Wairoa (best man), and Miss Nita Skelton (bridesmaid).
