Mock Wedding

To assist the Te Hapara Presbyterian Church building fund, the Te Hapara Women's Association assisted by the Women's Fellowship and Te Hapara women generally who are interested in the building, staged a mock wedding in the St. Andrews Church Hall recently, when a most interesting programme was presented. At right is the novel "wedding cake" which was a feature of the "wedding breakfast". Below are seen the members of the "wedding" group, photographed after the ceremony. The "bride", Miss Alison Kemp, and the "bridegroom", Mr Errol Hickman, are shown at right. From left to right in the front row are the "best man", Mr Norman Wilcox, the "chief bridesmaid", Miss Esme Haisman, the "groomsman", Mr Earl Hughes, the "bridesmaid", Miss June O'Hagan, and the "flower girl", little Elaine Hughes.
