Thorn-Leybourne. At Holy Trinity Church, Nelson, Maureen Agnes, daughter of Mr and Mrs L. J. O. Leybourne, Leeston, to John Lawrence, son of Mr and Mrs M. J. Thorn, Dovedale. Attendants were Pauline Leybourne, Leeston, sister of the bride, Allan Thorn, Woodstock, cousin of the groom, Elizabeth Thorn, Woodstock, cousin of the groom, chief maid, Ian Thorn, Dovedale, brother of the groom, and Lorna Silcock, Dovedale. Keay-Marchbanks. At Nelson Cathedral, Christine, daughter of Mrs and the late Mr R. J. Marchbanks, 11 Fifeahire Crescent, Nelson, to John David, son of Commander and Mrs J. D. Keay, Bay of Islands, Attendants were John Haywood, Burnham Camp, Jan Riggir, Nelson, Mardi Workman, Burnham Camp, chief maid, and Philip Maguire, Burnham Camp.
