Nelson Rowing Club

Three experienced oarsmen from clubs outside Nelson who have come to live in the district will help strengthen the Nelson Rowing Club. The club is also busy recruiting novice oarsmen, and any young men interested in rowing as a sport are invited to the club afternoons every Saturday, or to the rooms on Sunday morning. Brian Keeper, at telephone 5031, can give you the information. The club also hopes to participate in some of the major regattas in New Zealand this year.
