An Apology...

We know that it's a poor tradesman who blames his tools for a poor job, but this month we do have to apologise to readers for the deficiencies of our tools over a period. Unfortunately we could not recognise these deficiencies – in a flash gun – until the film was processed, and it was then too late. And so apologies to those taking part in the grandmothers' golf tournament at Greenacres. A defective flash cost us all the pictures we took. To indoor bowlers playing in the champion-of-champion fours, for a similar defect. And to all readers for the quality of the photographs taken at the Nelson Acclimatisation Society's centenary dinner – again brought about by flash problems.
