Taranaki Savages "Sterilised"

Elaborate precautions to prevent an outbreak of anything ranging from in-growing toenail to foot and mouth disease were taken by the Nelson Savage Club upon the arrival of a raiding party from the Stratford Club at Nelson airport recently. Each member of the party was given a dose of some horrible, un-savage like liquid (raspberry, we think it was) and made to undergo mouth examination and sterilisation of the feet. The raid was a tremendous success despite the rigorous treatment handed out to the raiders. Our pic above shows the Nelson "veterinary" force ready for the raiders.
