Two sisters, Janis Marilyn (left) and Rae Gaynor, daughters of Mr and Mrs E. Anderson, 63 The Ridgeway, Stoke, were married in the Stoke Baptist Church, last month, to Cecil George Friend, eldest son of Mr and Mrs C. L. Friend, Bartletts Road, Appleby, and to Alan Ross Ramus, son of Mr R. S. Ramus and the late Mrs Ramus, Sydney, respectively. In this double wedding picture the attendants for Mr and Mrs Friend are on the left, and those for Mr and Mrs Ramus, on the right. At left are Monty Friend, Appleby, brother of the groom, and Deborah Hughes and Mary-Ann Beattie, both of Nelson, nieces of the bride, flower-girls. At right, attendants for Mr and Mrs Ramus were Bill Webster, Sydney, cousin of the groom, and Patricia Hughes, Nelson, sister of the bride. Attendants were Michael Harris, Graeme and Peter (best man) Savage, brothers of the groom, Susan Savage, Richmond, matron of honour, Diane King, Richmond, cousin of the bride, and Patricia Monopoli, Nelson, cousin of the groom.
