Dangerous Rock

"As a frequent user of the Maitai Valley road, may I support your plea in the February issue for a widening of the road by the quarry. It is quite dangerous. Can I also draw your attention to another danger spot at Black Hole. This is a big rock close to a favourite diving spot, and just below the water surface. During the holidays a girl split her head open badly on this rock and was lucky not to have been killed. Could the Council not haul this boulder from the river?" writes "Concerned Parent."
