Dominating the timber yards and mills that he founded is the old home of the late Mr H. Baigent, at 114 Rutherford Street. The home is now the property of Mr J. G. Barnett, and part of it is sub-divided into flats. The house itself is about 80 years old and it remained with in the Baigent family until four or five years ago. The small attic-like room at the far left of the picture was originally designed to take a clock tower.
