Arts Ball
The theme of the first arts ball for a long time was "A Hallow' een Happening" and while the main motifs decorating the Ngawhatu Hall carried this theme, there was a tremendous variety of costumes, not all of them connected with ghosties and so on. No doubt about it - a tremendous success.
Bob Wallace is inside that magnificent ghoulish head which won for him the first prize of a 20th century Mona Lisa.
