Miniature Show for Riding
Members of pony clubs throughout the Nelson province supported the miniature show run by the Wakatu branch of the Nelson Pony Club on the branch's headquarters at the airport last month Big entries in all classes, perfect weather and a firm surface helped ensure the complete success of the meeting.
Pony judges, Mrs E. Craven (Blenheim) and Mr Tom Beatson (Woodville) flank champion ponies, Susan Conza (Topsy) reserve, and Stephen Rowland (Tom Thumb), champ; Venetia Hill (Holly-Go-Likely) reserve, and Angela O' Brien (Nicky), champion; Marie O' Brien (Sean) reserve champion.
