Waimea College Holds Sports Shield

The best that Cashmere High School sports teams could provide was not quite good enough to enable them to wrest the winter sports tournament shield from the holders, Waimea College, when the two met at Waimea College last month. Waimea had three wins and two draws, and Cashmere two wins and two draws. Waimea also won an unofficial badminton game by a handsome margin.
